The business unit Analyzing & Testing (A&T) of the NETZSCH Group comprises a complete range of analytical instruments in the fields of rheological, thermo-analytical, thermophysical and fire testing devices with the highest precision. The French branch office of NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing is located in the region of Lyon. The Spanish branch office is located in Barcelona. NETZSCH is a well-established supplier with a reasonable installed base and an experienced sales and service team working closely with our customers across South-West Europe.
Job Description
- Management and optimization of the Sales region “South West Europe”, consisting of activities in France, Luxembourg, Spain and Portugal.
- Organization of the market activities such as sales and applications in close cooperation with the local sales teams in France and Spain.
- Organization of the After-Sales & Service Activities in close cooperation with the Service team.
- Organization of the administration tasks in close cooperation with the admin team.
- Ensuring sales and earnings targets for the local Sales & Service organization including target agreements and performance reviews.
- Oversee the administrative, financial and legal management of the subsidiary.
- To ensure compliance with French regulations as well as the group's policies.
- Optimize business costs and resources.
- Analyzing the market, competitive situation, identify new sales opportunities and customer potential in the region South-West Europe.
- Support of the re-selling partners including target agreement and performance review, especially in Portugal.
- Further development of the regional sales strategy and introduction of innovative sales channels for high quality thermal analysis, rheology and firetesting.
Qualifications
- University degree in natural sciences like chemistry, physics, mechanical, engineering, material science or comparable
- Relevant experience in sales of capital goods via direct and indirect channels
- Knowledge of business administration is beneficial
- Management experience is beneficial
- Experience in the development and implementation of direct sales and distribution strategies
- Preferably knowledge of the relevant customer groups, sales processes and distribution structures in the field of analytical equipment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to cooperate
- Negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Initiative, goal and results-orientation and high self-motivation
- Confident handling of IT and communication tools (Office / CRM)
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits etc. (active travelling time approx. 30%)
